Driving outside of Diego and seeing where the road leads . . . is an adventure in itself here! First road led us to Sakalava Bay, it opens into the Indian Ocean. We went at low tide, you can walk out really far. We found a sand dune that let us walk across the bay to a small beach. Absolutely amazing!
God's creation is breathtaking! Walker said he could have stayed all day. That would have made getting back across the sand dune during high tide a bit difficult :o)
Another road out of town took us up and into the forest. Looking forward to going back and taking a guide to show us around. How do you end such a day??? . . . . .with a picnic.

It's 100 degrees and beginning to look like Christmas . . .
MERRY CHRISTMAS
What do you do when it doesn't FEEL like Christmas, when the weather outside is frightfully - HOT! You listen to Christmas music! Jamming to Third Day Christmas Offerings, can put anyone in the decorating mood.
Walker and Delaney pulled the decorations from the shed, dusted them off as Andy and I sat back and soaked up the joy they gave from putting up the tree. What a blessing!
What a blessing is the reason for the season! Pray that as we head into this time of celebration, we can share the true meaning and reason of Christmas to our neighbors and community.
So, what do you do when the tree is up and decorated, the Christmas candles displayed, the nativity set is put in a place of honor and advent calendars opened? . .
You . . .
watch . . .
"Merry . . .
Madagascar" . . .
of course!
Thinking of you all during this blessed season of our Lord's birth!
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21
